Castle Tourist started several years ago when the original site owner discovered the wonder of castles and wanted to share his stories with the world. The site transitioned several times, but one common element remained – the love of castles and everything associated with them.
History, art, architecture, adventure, design and travel combine to create a plethora of engaging insights into the world of castles.
We are currently expanding the site with lots of options for learning more about castles, visiting them, staying in them and maybe even buying one.
Our Goal
Our readers are the most important element of Castle Tourist. We can’t visit every castle in the world, so are happy to receive photos and stories from readers who have visited castles, especially those that are not currently in our directory.
